ON VESSEL AT AUCKLAND

AUCKLAND, January: 18,
A mild outbreak of chicken pox. occurred during the voyage of the staimer Cornwall, which arrived here from Liverpool to-day. The, vessel is a training ship for officers, and she carries thirty-four cadets, who' are utilised’as seamen. Three of tlie cadets contracted the complaint, and they were, isolated on board by the ship’s doctor. The patients were convalescent when the steamer arrived; and they were taken to the hospital for further, medical attention.
