The - Bank of Montreal stood firm to-day in its refusal to grant the c.ty of Calgary any further' credit, unless it- met its obligations in New York in American funds.

• A letter to the mayor '(Mr Dawson) from the general manager of the Bank in Eastern Canada, ' reiterated the Bank’s refusal of any more credit to tide tire city through the present financial crisis.
