TROOP'S DESPATCHED 'TO SCENE,
CTMeJES- OCCUR WITH PEASANTS

Fresh trouble occurred recently in the disturbed -areas at Alww, peasants attacking Hindus for refusing to support them,j-n their agitation against iii&t Skate- State troops were despatched to the scene andj later in the day, clashes occurred between the troops and peasants, the latter opening fire which the troops returned. The casualties are unknown.
' The peasants have taken a hostile attitude throughout the unde area, stoning ■ State officials cars, one of which contained an English woman who was severely Put and bruised. • The Maharaja is deeply concerned with developments at present, and is appealing to 1 the Government to prevent outside interference by the State Department. which he suggests is responsible for the existing hostility.
