INVITATION BY GOVERNMENT. (Per Press Association Copyright .} WELLINGTON, December 14. Three of the members of the Economic Committee which reported to Llie Government last February upon the Dominion’s budgetary position, have been invited to Wellington by the Cabinet with a view to their tendering further advice on the financial position. They are Professor J. liight, the chairman of the original Committee ; Doctor H. Belshaw, and Professor A. H. Tocker. Although no official announcement has been made, it is stated that the economists will merely bo reviewing the position as it exists to-day, and that they will ho available for a few dnyri 'if tho Cabinet wishes to consult them.
