PERSIAN OIL
REPLY TO BRITAIN. (United Press Association—By Electric Tel egraph—Copy right.) LONDON, December 14. The Teheran Government, replying to the last British note eonsidens the cancellation of the Ainglo-Persian Oil Coy.’s concession, states the Persian Government considers that the Hague Court is not competent to examine the oil dispute, and the debts, anld reiterates that the cancellation of the Darcy concessions is justified.
The reply also threatens to bring to the notice of the League of Nations the alleged threats of use of pressure by the British GoA r ernment Avhich is encouraging the Anglo-Persian Oil Company to resist tlm payment of its royalties and its income tax.
A new agreement is suggested by Persia, safeguarding the Persian interests. OUTPUT RESTRICTED. PARIS, December 14. The British, Dutch, American and Roumanian oil interests have reached an agreement on measures they consider necessary to balance the production of oil Avith the demand. Roumania has agreed to limit her oil production to 18,500 tons daily for three months from January Ist., next.
