In the Assembly, Mr'Maher appeared at the Bar of the House to answer the charge of having assaulted Mr Llewellyn. Th© Speaker read a letter from Mr Maher in which he tendered a full apology to the House and Mr Llewellyn. The latter said he would accept some of the blame, and offered an apology for using certain words.
Th© matter was then allowed to drop.
