ADDINGTON STOCK SALE.
LAMBS AND PIGS DOWN

Prices varied somewhat at to-day’s Addington live stock sale. Fat and store sheep were up, while lambs and pigs were down, and beef scarcely changed. There was a slightly larger yarding of beef of splendid quality, mostly handy weights. There was little change in values, with a slight rise in lighter weights, if anything, Best bullocks sold up to £lO 12s 6d, prime £7 as .to £8 12s 6d, medium £5 7s 6d to £6 12s ficli, light £3 2s fid to £4 2s 6d. Best he’frrs sold from £5 12s 6d to £6 7s fid, and one special to £8 12s fid; medium £4 os to £5 2s 6d, light from £3 2s 6d. Heavy prime cows sold do £7 7s fid 1 , prime £4 to £5, medium £2 15s to- £3 12s 6d; light from 37s fid. There was a full yarding of fat lambs, the quality being of a very high standard. The butchers were keen up do price, but owing to the heavier entry, values receded on an average -of 2s to 2s fid per head. Lighter sorts were selling comparatively well. Best heavy lambs sold do log 4d ; prime 12s 9d to 14s 4d, medium 10s 6d to 12s fid, light from 8s 6d. Fat (pigs were again selling at very low values. Baconers, possibly, showing a slight rire but the sale was generally disappointing. Best heavy porkers sold from 25s to 28s. 6d, lighter 19s to 235; best baconers 42s fid to 47s fid, lighter 31s fid :to 37s 6d, extra heavy to 54s fid; choppers 30s to 48s 6d. . '
