AFGHAN UNREST

REBELLION THREAT TENDED.

CALCUTTA, November 17

As a secfuel to the recent execution of Nabi Khan, there have ben Afghan military operations against the Darikhel Jadi'an tribe, who are known to be sympathetic towards ex-King Amanullah. These l ave resulted in the capture of all of these tribesmen, the seizure of their arms and ammunition, the confiscation of their houses -and lands. Three of Nabi Khan’s accomplices have been executed. It is officially stated that the rebellion threat is now ended.
