THIS CRIME DUE TO JEALOUSY

(Received this day at 10.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, November 14,

It is now revealed that six young children, three belonging to Withers and three to Airs Golden were in the house at the time of the tragedy, and their frantic screams .roused the neighbours.

Withers killed his wife in 1925, and ■was sentenced to seven years’ gaol, but was released on parole a few months ago. Jealousy is bepnrdd to be the motive for his latest crime, as, with his dying breath, Withers tried to murmur a man’s name.

Previously, he gasped to the police —“Look at what he did” pointing to his wounds.
