TWO MOTOR CYCLISTS FINED.

AUCKLAND, November 8,

“It does not pay to show off,’' said Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Hamilton Police Court on Friday, .when two youths, Alfred Harp and Thomas Hugh Gopdall, admitted that they had ridden their motor-cycles in a negligent manner and had failed to use the handlebars.

Inspector P. Courtney said he saw the defendants trick-riding in Rosstrevor Street. They stood on their machines and had their hands above their .heads. The speed of the machines was about 25 miles an hour. The defendants said there was n° traffic about at the time.

Fines of 10/- were imposed on each of the two counts.
