Displaying fortitude worthy of the old time adventurers who voyaged in cockleshell*, five r-en have reached Sydney, overnight, from Auckland, in th© thirteen ton motor yacht, “Beth.” The party consisted of Mr T. Webb and his two sons, of Adelaide, and •Messrs Ctecil Dowman and Basil 'Stallard of New Zealand. They were dogged by storms which terribly confused the seas, many of which broke inboard. The wind was howling all the time. One .of the Webbs was thrown from ' his bunk three times. Sea sickness was prevalent aboard. There was wretched weather all the way from Norfolk and Lord Howe Islands, but the little craft rode the seas well. Some members of the parly cherished not the slightest hope of getting through safely.
