LONDON, October 29, An Englishman 'who> has returned from visiting the ex-Kpiser Doom told the. “Guardian” that the Kaiser is little changed, except in his appearance. ®e ‘.spoke freely of England, but h© did not inquire after, or mention, the English 'Royal Family. He remarked ; “You’ve nothing but conference after conference, but nothing happens.” He added that he himself had never wanted the War, but said he was bullied into it by his sons. He mad e a great point of the fact that he neva signed the declaration of war. He said he hoped that the Hohenzollern Dynasty would revive, but not with him as Kaiser.
He. reads German, French and English papers daily, and is remarkably informed of current events. He is quite happy, in exile.
