Ex-King Carol urges the population to meet the train and give Princess Helen a rousing welcome when she arrives for Michael’s birthday, which is on October 25. It is understood Princess Helen was determined to secretly return for her • (soil’s birthday but Carol learnt of her intention and sent a special train and arranged a public reception. He promises to- treat her with all the courtesies due her rank. He says he is much distressed by recent statements by Princess Helen in London arid adds that there is no reason wily a small boy should be tile bone of contention between a divorced couple.
