MINE TRAGEDY
MiLLERTON MAN’S DEATH. (Per Press Association — Copyright ., WESTPORT, October 19. Charles Collins, a mine:’, aged 48 years, and married, with tvv o young children, was killed this afternoon in the Mine Creek section of the Millerlon mine, b v a fall of coal, which completely buried him. The deceased was a native of Australia. He had worked in Millerton for many years. He was a member of the executive of the Millerton Miners* Union and the Medical Association, and a keen rugby enthusiast. By l"s death. AH I W+on has been deprived of one of its best citizens. His brother, William, resides at Westport.
