REPORTED BEAU
A MISTAKE SOMEWHERE. (Per Press Association— Copyright.) . - AUCKLAND, October 5. A man who had- been reported ns having committed suicide and bad been’ entered- up im the police records as having taken l his life,. stood in the dock to-day. He was; George Macdonald Hamilton, aged 31,. a salesman, and he appeared bfi a charge of making default of a maintenance order in favour of his wife. The arrears totalled £22 up to ■ February 19; ■ VThis is a Nelson case,” said, the-detective-sergeant; “It was reported' that Hamilton; Committed suicide a few months’ Wgoi' but evidently a mistake was made somewhere; as he has now come to light.”
The case was adjourned, bail being allowed.
