The Georges Pliili;M>ar fire on May 23rd last Ims been found to be due to a defect in the electrical circuit. The Committee of Investigation highly praises Captain V icq’s conduct. It was stated during the inquiry that if disaster wore found to he caused hy an accident, no compensation would be due to the survivors or relatives of the victims.
