From R.M.S. “Orontes” : For their Colombo match, the English team will include nine who have never been on an Australian tour before, plus Jardine and Duckworth. The others are: Brown, Wyatt, Pataudi, Allen, Voce, Mitchell, Paynter, Verity and Bowes. At a fancy dress parade Hammond won as a little girl, and Clemengei as a negro in a pelnco shirt. Jardine was a sheik in a heard.
