CARRIES MOTION. (United Pres»- Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) (Received .this day at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, October 4. The Labour conference agreed to Mr Wise’s amendment in favour of nationalising the Bank of England and joint ■stock banks. Mr Wise said the directors were .excellent business men, judged from capitalist standards, all being anti-Sociafiats.
