The sum of £39 in notes was found by police officers in two sugar bags discovered with the clothing of W. It. Corcorane, a man over eighty years of age, whose dead body was found in a pool in the Kuirau Rieserve on Saturday. It is - believed that the man’s whole * estate will realise between £IO,OOO and £12,000. Corcorane used to say that lie had witnessed thirty'Melbourne'Cup' races.
