The defence rested to-day in the Lancaster trial, and the rebuttal of the defence testimony was started. Lancaster denied that he had ever told Mrs Ida Clarke, the mother of Clarke, after the shooting, that sometimes he was so confused that he did not know whether he killed Clarke or not.
