Gilt-edged securities showed a further all round advance on the Stock Exchange to-day. An outstanding feature was the buying of three and a half per cent, conversion loan stock, which lifted the price for • the first time to over £IOO. It rose 10s to £IOO Rs 6rl, which compares with £73i earlier this year, and £57 at one tun-e last year.
