CURTIS TO FIGHT GAOL TERM. ("United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) NEW YOKE, July . 22. Eagerness to make a renewed search for the Lindbergh baby’s kidnappers was attributed to-day to John Hughps Curtis, who was recently convicted of cbstruc'fcing the course of justice. The announcement was made by Lloyd Fisher attorney for Curtis, ae he made plan for a fight to set aside the verdict of a year’s imprisonment and 1000 dollars’ fine against him client. Curtis an ex-millionaire boat-build-in- of Virgnia; confessed to a cruel-de-ception, which resulted in the search fir the Lindbergh kidnappers-, being directed into false channels. Curtis -Sid Lindbergh that he wat in touch • : th the kidnappers and kept police nd other searchers on the wrong trail nobling the real kindappers to escape, urtis hoped to enrich himself by .'curing a large sum of'money, as an ■lleged ransom, for himself.
