Th e mysterious disappearance of the .jßev. :R, E. Bacon, the Principal of Thornbrough College, at Charters Towers, has been solved by the finding of his body at the bottom of the five hundred feet abaft of a disused mine. Rev. Bacon had recently suffered a nervous breakdown. He was extremely popular.
