, .*DUNEDIN, July 18. James Brown Sampson, aged 54years, was -found shot in the fowl house at the rear of his dwelling this morning. An inquest was held this afternoon, and a verdict was found of death from a gunshot wound, self-inflicted, while in a depressed state of mind.
