Then Arthur Hobcl sleeping in a hut nearby, heard him, and rushed to the rescue. He was driven back several timed by thick smoke -and blistering heat. Finall entering the bedroom through a window, he was able to get the crippled man out of bed and through.the windown. It was no easy task, but Hood managed it just in time._ The. house was forty years old. It was destroyed with t’he contents. There is only a small insurance. ••:•■•
