TIMARU, July 2, ift'-A cqllision occurred at 10 o’clock this morning at the intersection of King and William Streets, between a lorry . owned by the Canterbury Farmers’ Co-operative Association and a Ford jilorry being driven from Pareora, to Timaru by Mr F. G. Shuker. [ The Rord lorry was badly knocked -about. Mrs M’lntyre, o'f Pareora, a passenger, was holding her two-year-cdd son Donald in her lap. The impact smashed a- glass windscreen and the broken pieces cut the child’s face badly. He was removed to hospital. PASSENGER OVERBOARD. There was 'n o sign anywhere of his companion. The police are investigating.
