PIGEON FLYING
SUPREME CLUB RACE
On Sunday afternoon, in exceedingly squally weather, with a strong southerly wind blowing, the fourth successful race for the “Pointer Cup” was held Horn Wataroa, a distance of 70 miles, by the Supreme Club. IJepite the cold and rainy conditions, G. Kerr’s “Flyaway Jack”, proved successful out of the 23 birds, representing 15 lofts, which took part- in the race. J. Andrews’ “Little Hope” again outfiew H. Andrews’ “Come Back Jib for second place.
The result of the race was as follows: G. Kerr’s “Flyaway Jack” 1; J. Andrews’ “Little Hope” 2; H. Andrews’ “Come Back Jill” 3.
Also started: H. Pierson, W. Parker W. Dwan, N. Samson. J. Lawn, \ Laing, G. Laiug. G. Wormington, 1) Moynahan, E. Paul, T. Andrews, W. Johnson.
