The yarding of stock at the above yards yesterday comprised 17 lambs, 1.13 Lit sheep and 56 head of cattle included in the Latter being a goodly number of runners of very excellent (pialify. Competition was fair throughout the fixture and a total clearance was made at prices ‘in advance of the last sale.
Ox beef made from 18s to 25s per hundred, sonic prime heifers making to 20s, cow beef varied from 15s to 18s. Sheep and lambs were well - competed for at advanced rates. Messrs Jeffries and Co. and Houston and Co. sold as follows; Sheep; For A. Scott 15 lambs at lls 9d ; 3 at 12s 6d ; 28 ewes and wethers at 12s 9d ; 21 at. 13s 9d ; 46 at 13s. For AT.
