ILLEGAL WORD
CHARGE AGAINST A YOUTH.

; ‘ -CHRISTCHURCH, May 28. A 16-year-old boy was charged in the Christchurch Childrens’ .Court to-day with the use of an illegal word during the recent tram strike. He emphatic--cally denied his guilt and emphasised that, it was. his companion who had used the word referred to. The Magistrate said that there was no doubt that the word had been used, but th© identity. had to be proved and therefore the case would be adjourned. The Magistrate adjourned the case to enable the other young man to be found.
