EVANGELIST DENOUNCES WIFE

“She’s a had, had woman, and Jl< l! isn’t bad enough femhor,” was the outburst, startling the: Consistory Court, when Robert Walton, a greyhound breeder, the Evangelist husband of one of Davidson’s landladies, was questioned _ regarding Barbara Harris, during the inquiry into the charges of loose conduct against the Rev. Davidson. “She is an arrant liar from beginning to end, and I would like to got her to yiyself for a few minutes. I would tear he- to nieces.”
“T.s that the evangelist, or the greyhound breeder .aiming out?” askx-d Mr Oliver, counsel for the prosecution. Walton added that Harris would never have been in his house if he hadn’t heard that she was fatherless, and that her mother was in an asylum. “That’s the evangelist speaking, not the butcher,” commented Mr Oliver.
