SYDNEY, May 28
A special meeting of (he federal council of the Australian Railways Union passed a resolution to-dav that it will resist any attempt by the Commonwealth Government to “deregister our Union because of its affiliation with the Red International of Trade Unions.” The decision is regarded as a threat of a general strike if the Government enforces the recently-passed legislation dealing with Communists and unions, affiliated with. Soviet bodies.
