BY EX-ZEPPELIN COMMANDER,
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.)
J (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, May 17
There lias been a storm of controversy over the Broadcasting Corporation’s proposal to permit a series of radio talks by Captain Johann Breithaupt, commander of one of the Zeppelins which raided London in lyjo, killing seventy men, women and children, and injuring 128.
“I do not see why a person, responsible for killing our women and children should be given the facilities for telling the British public how he cud it,” says Mr 'Locker Lampson. Admiral Mark Kerr hopes tl)at Breithaupt will confine himself to a condemnation of air raids involving civilian life.
The Corporation’s only reply to the objectors is “Switch off if you do not like the talk.” *
