At to-day’s Addington sale fat cattle made a medium entry, good quality prices were easier for medium sorts. Heavy -teers sold to £l3 12s 6d, prime £8 17s 6d to £9 17s (id, medium £7 5s to £8 15s, light from £5 10s. Rest heifers made to £lO 7s 6d, prime £6 5s to £7 17s 6d, medium £1 15s to £5 15s, light from £3 10s. Heavy cows sold to £lO 7s 6d, prime £6 15s to £8 2s 6d,medium £4 10s to £6, aged and inferior from £3 2s 6d. There 'was a light, yarding of fat sheep, and a sharp rise in values for prime sorts and freezers, and inferior were unchanged. Good heavy wethers sold to 28s lOd, prime 21 .s (id to 245, medium 10s Od to 19s, light from 12s lOd. heavy ewes so 21s 7d, prime 15s 6d to 19s, medium 10s to 14s, light inferior (3s 6d to 8s 6d. There was a medium yarding of fat lambs, the quality was mixed, and was fair to good; butcher’s heavy sorts were scarce, and there was a good demand for the latter. Heavy lambs brought 18s lOd, prime 15s (id to 17s Od, medium 13s 6d to 15,-.-. light ,and plain Us 0d to 13s Then 1 was a medium on fry of fat pigs, values were on a naf with last wee k.
