RELIEF DEPOTS
FOR DUNEDIN’S WIRELESS. By Telegraph —Per Press Association) DUNEDIN, January 11. The Hospital Board this morning decided t-o open an emergency relief depot to succour men under the No. o scheme during their stand down week. The "Board will appr'aoeh - the Unemployment and Health Ministers to ascertain whether Hospital Boards can be relieved altogether of un«mployment respon,sibility.
A number of citizens met the unemployed and may possibly open another relief depot if the Hospital Board’s depot proves inadequate. As a sequel to Saturday’s disturbance ' 7 men, allegedly participating, will be charged this afternoon with encouraging disorder.
