HONEYMOON TRAGEDY
PROFESSOR’S WIFE DROWNED. (Australian Press Association.) HOBART, January 10. Mrs McAiilov, the wife of Doctor Leicester McAuley, Professor of Physics, at the Tasmanian University, was drowned in the River Shannon, near Great Lake. The couple were only married on New Year’s Eve, and they were oil their honeymoon, Mrs McAuley was drawn into the intake pipe while bathing.
