MOVEMENTS OF MINISTERS. [By Telegraph, Per Press Association.J WELLINGTON, December 21. The Right Hon. G. W. Forbes, Prime ■ Minister, .will leave for his home at Cheviot on Wednesday evening and, in common with other Ministers of the Crown, he will be absent from Wellington until early in the Year. He presided at a meeting of Cabinet this evening. The Right ’Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister of Public Works, will leave for his home at Matakobe. North Auckland,, tomorrow afternoon. The Hon. J. A. Young, Minister of .Health, visited Palmerston North' today for the purpose of conferring with the Hospital Board there. The Hon. D. Jones will leave for Christchurch to-morrow evening. He is not expected to resign his portfolio until the New Year. The Horn R. Masters, Minister of Education, js expected to leave for his home in Stratford about Ttmr.sdpy evening. The Hon. J. G. Cobbe, Minister of Justice, will leave for Feilding toward the end of the week. The Hon. A. Hamilton, PostmasterGeneral, will leave for the South Island to-morrow evening. CHANGES DELAYED, WELLINGTON, December 23. It i* learned that the -Min'ster of Agriculture, Hon. D. Jonus, who was defeated at the general elections, • will not resign his portfolio until * he. returns from his home in the south. That will be after the holidays. He is now completing pertain deisss.work which he began before the 'electron. This delay will mean that a Cabinet re-shuffle of portfolios will not be undertaken until early dn the New Year. . .
