MR CHURCHILL
CAUSE OF ACCIDENT. (British OfficAal Wireiess.) RUGBY, December 15. Tile accident, to lit. Hoti. Winston Churchill in New York, apparently occurred through his momentary forgetfulness of the difference between the British and the American traffic regulations, and his first act was to exonerate the driver ol’ all blame.
The latest report states that his condition is slightly improved. He -is in a cheerful mood, following a restful night. His son, Mr Randolph Churchill, has received a cable reporting that his father’s condition is as follows: Temperature, 100.6; pulse, normal; head and scalp wound, .severe: two cracked ribs; slight pleural irritation on tile right'side; generally much bruised; progress satisfactory. NEW YORK, December 15.
His doctors, in a statement, say that Mr Churchill’s condition i,s satisfactory.
