PETITION TO THE KING, -FOR DISSOLUTION OF ! government, (Australian Press Association.) (Received this day at 9.26 a.m) SYDNEY, December 16. Speaking at the Town Hall to-niglit, Colonel Cafiipbell, leader of the New Guard said that a petition would be sent to 'His Majesty the King next month, ‘ with approximately one hundred thousand signatures, asking that the Government of New South Wales be dissolved. The New Guard’s petition to the Governor, .Sir Philip Game, to dissolve Parliament, only met with a forma! acknowledgement, “so now we are going to a higher authority,” lie said. He advised Mr Lang to “see the writing on the wall,”,and get out. GUARD OPPOSED TO LANG. WILL RUN COMMUNISTS OUT; (Received this day at 10.15 a.m.) , SYDNEY, December 17Colonel Campbell, speaking at the Town Hall, said that the New Guard was, not a political body, and they were not against ' the Labour Party, but were definitely against Mr Lang. But for the existence of the New Guard, the Cbmmunists would Imre been enabled to perfect their plans for the complete Sovietisatjon of the State without fear of interruption. The only way to deal with a menace was by plain moral and physical aggression. “Certain politicians” he said, have pledged themselves to deport all the leading Communists, but if these promises are not carried out immediately Parliament is assembled, the New Guard, within the period of Rs -five months’ plan, will do the job without the aid of Parliament.” Colonel Campbell denied that the New Guard was out to wreck- Trade Unionism. Eisrhty per cent, of its members are Trade Unionists, he said. '
