/ . / HALIFAX (Nova Scotia), Dec. 14. ' Sir William .Coaker, Minister without portfolio, in the Newfoundland Government, said, on his arrival here that tile Newfoundland Government had officially submitted proposals for . the purchase by Canada of the Labrador Territory at a valuation of one hundred million dollars. He stated 1 that the Canadian Government was un able to deal with the .matter while the depression in Canada continued.
