A RESTRICTING EFFECT. MURDERS, AMOUNT TO ONE DAILY. (United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) CALCUTTA, December 2. The recent riots at Srinagar, and the subsequent Moslem agitation against the Kashmir Hindu j Government, is having a disturbing’effect in the Punjab where fires of traditional Moslem and Hindu enmity are likely; to break out momentarily, The situation is menacing at Laiiore. There is also increasing lawlessness In the Peshawar district, and murders for robbery, women, or revenge, have grown to oue daily. The agitation among the peasants in the United provinces, urging them not to pay taxes, is steadily growing.
