A CENTENARIAN

DEATH OF MRS CROSSE

PALMERSTON N., Nov. 23

The death has occurred of Mrs Elizabeth Crosse, at the age of 101. She was the widow of Charles Grant Crosse, and was born in Essex on July 18t.b., 1830. She arirved in New Zealand in 1841. She is survived by seven -children, 34 grandchildren, and 48 great-grandchildren. On marrying Mr Crosse she resided in Hawkes Bay, where her husband was engaged in farming at Waipukurau and Porangahau. After the death of her husband., Mrs Crpsse lived at Napier; also "Wanganui, .and Daniievirke.
