FULLY RECOVERED

POPULATION OF NAPIER

(By Telegraph—Per Pres* Association )

NAPIER, November 18. In view of the belief held' in many quarters that Napier’s population has not recovered since the earthquake, some figures, now available from the electoral rolls, will prove exceedingly interesting. The total number of electors registered shows an increase of 759 over the figures 1 for 1928, the two aggre-,-gates - being 13,408 and 12,649 respectively. It is significant that the increase is greater than that shown by any othefr electorate ill the earthquake area.
