SYDNEY, November 13
Sixteen out of seventeen defendants tried for various offences arising out of the recent Bankstown eviction incidents were convicted to-ilay. Four were sentenced to one year’s imprisonment, one to eighteen months’, two were bound over to be of good behaviour, and the remainder were imprisoned from nine to six months respectively .
