LT. SHEEHAN ACQUITTED.

(Received this day at 9.25 a.m) CALCUTTA, November 13. Lieutenant Sheehan has been acquitted of tli e murder of Donald Clark, by shooting, in a railway train. The Magistrate declared that the affair was most unfortunate and was caused by Clark jumping from the moving train to evade detection as he ‘w'as travelling without a ticket. Sheehan was overwrought ow'ing to a previous attempt on his life and feared Clark was another assassin.
