OF VALUABLE PICTURE. 'By Telegraph—Per Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH, Oct. 23. Picked up for half a crown among a jumble at a local auction mart, a picture of Christ wearing a crown of thorns naw believed to be an Italian masterpiece by Guido Koni, of sixteenth century work. It is not known •how the picture came to be in its neglected state, but the present owner, J. L. Weightimui has submitted it to expert opinion, which agreed it is a sixteenth century work.
