NEW ZEALAND ASSOCIATION. (By Telegraph—Per Pies' Association) WELLINGTON, October 20. The New Zealand championship regatta was allocated by nine votes to seven, to Auckland, to be held at Hamilton at a date to be fixed, at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Amateur Rowing Association this evening. The . champion nip eights were allocated to the Marlborougn Association by a unanimous vote. It was decid'd also that the proposed date for holding the New Zealand championships should accompany eacn application for same. An application for reinstatment as an amateur by George Welch of Akaroa., whs refused. Officers were elected as follows: — President: W. G. Mason (Auckland); Vice-Presidents: Frank Hayward (Wanganui) and A. J. MacLaine (Marlborough) ; Council: B. A. Morris and F. Turner (Canterbury), E. S. Inm:* and D. R. Menzies (Auckland), W. G. Dent (East Coast), H. Paton (Otago;, and G. Laughlnn (Wanganui); Secretary: A. D. Bayfield (Wellington).
