ENGLISH PIS PL \Y. (United Press Association,—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) DON DON.- Piikibqr 18. A private vjow of the Olympia Motor Show, which is officially being opened to-morrow, reveals a treuendous advance in the industry in the face of the world depression. The fact is that the industry is at present on the crest of a wave of . prosperity which is being aided by heavy inquiries from abroad in view of the cheapening of sterling. Many of these inquiries are from countries that have hitherto had a closed market* In addition the protection of the McKenna Duties has allowed the industry virtually to capture the Home market, which continues to expand surprisingly. The exhibition reveals even more graceful Jiues than hitherto, also a somewhat surprising revival of the tourer car, which hitherto had practically been ousted by the saloon car. Never has there been such a wide choice of cars so cheap to buy and maintain. The prices of the whole range are considerably reduced.
