ANARCHY IN INDIA
MOVEMENT TO CHECK IT. (United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) CALCUTTA, October 3. A Conference at Simla is discussing the establishment of an India-wide Society for the rescue, reformation and protection of young Indians with anarchial tendencies. Branches are being established at Lahore, Amritsar, Meerut, Calcutta, Dacca, Chittagong, and Midnapore, which is a notorious anarchist centre. The organisers include prominent 'Hindus and Moslems. INDIA CONFERENCE. RUGBY, October 3.
The first informal meeting of representatives of the different interests and groups of minorities committee of the Indian Round Tafile Conference was held in private to-day at Saint James’ Palace. At its conclusion the following was issued: “Certain dele*, gates of the British Indian Delegation met Mr Gandhi and discussed certain matters. It was decided that no statement should be issued until the deliberations are concluded. '
