TRAMWAY RECEIPTS

AUCKLAND, September 28
A serious fall in tramway receipts during the last three or four weeks was admitted by the Chairman of the Transport Board, Mr Allum, who said the whole position was being investigated, He denied knowing of an intention to dismiss sixty-five employees. He stated that the Board may consider rationing work.
