BEST MAN AT GREYMOUTH WEDDING. f ßy Telegraph—Per Press Association) WELLINGTON, September 24. In wishing to attend a wedding at Runanga, near Greymouth, yesterday (that of Miss M. King and Mr M. R. Spiers), and to be in Gisborne to-day, a Christchurch business mail, Mr J. A. Redpath, had recourse to a plane. He left Christchurch yesterday morning, and attended the wedding in Runanga in the afternoon. Then he continued to Blenheim in a motor car, arriving there early this morning, after travelling all (night. Aft Blenheim he engaged Squadron Leader Chandler to«ifly him across to Wellington, where he breakfasted, and caught the Napier express. (He intends to get off at Hastings, and to charter a plane to take him to his destination, which he expects to reach at 6 p.m.
